What is the calm Panel?
The Calm Panel is a two-part system: a soft, premium light-blocking fabric panel, made to your window measurements for a precise fit. And a discreet strip that fixes to your window frame without drilling or permanent fixings.
The panel attaches and removes easily to the window fitting, so it can be used each nap or evening just like drawing curtains.
how does it create darkness?
It's designed to be pressed into your window frame, allowing the fabric to fill the corners and reduce light leakage at the sides and bottom.
Used with your curtains or blinds, it creates a dark, calm space - a natural cue to your child's nervous system that it’s time to sleep.
How to use the calm panel
When it’s time for sleep, put up the panel and press it gently into place, then draw your curtains or blinds. In the morning and after nap-time, simply take it down again. Just like opening the curtains.

Initial set up
A discreet velcro hook strip is applied to the top of your window frame.
The Calm Panel attaches directly onto it using a soft velcro loop edge sewn onto the top of the panel, creating a secure, removable fit.
window compatibility
Designed for recessed windows, where the panel sits neatly within the frame.
Important information:
- You’ll need a flat surface at the top of your window frame (around 2cm) to attach the hook strip.
- A minimum recess of 5 cm is required. The panel is designed to slightly overlap at the sides, to block light at the edges.

Blinds: The Calm Panel can sit in front of or behind existing blinds, depending on your space.

Handles: The Calm Panel is soft and flexible and will sit around handles without issue.
